This article from the Washington Post does do a great job explaining the types of things that are truly difficult to hear... namely when people complain about their pregnancy or their children... Before you complain about your pregnancy or your children on Facebook.... here's a little perspective... Something I've wanted to point out so many times but never knew how to explain it... I definitely don't suffer to the same extreme as the women in this article, but I know many women who do.
Perhaps the lesson for every one of us (even myself!) is to remember that we all have so many blessings in our lives and to be conscious about cultivating gratefulness in our lives for all that we do have ♥

Good post! I am not overly sensitive but definitely cringe a tiny bit when I hear lovely ladies whine about their husband or complain about their kids...dont get me wrong...we're all entitled to vent on occasion but what blessings life partners and little ones are...even when they are driving you completely batty. As one who is still single - waiting to meet Mr. Right and hoping for babies someday I try to just praise God for the meantime because it will be a forever reminder to appreciate the blessing when it does come and I know God's timing is never one second late.
ReplyDeleteHaving come through infertility is a lesson as well. God wants us to rejoice in our journey whether we are in the middle of infertility or have children.
