Life. Money. {Hope.} ~ Thank You Dave Ramsey!

****************
The rich rule over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender.
{Proverbs 22:7}

Haven't heard our story yet?
The ugly, the uglier, the amazingness of God's grace and faithfulness to our family?

Here you go.  Fast forward to about the 22 minute mark to hear my friend Julie sing like an angel. Oh, I love her and her voice and that song... and the harmony with Elisha is medicine to my soul.... just beautiful.  Our story starts around 27:30... but it's worth listening first to "...there is no one else for me... none but Jesus... crucified to set me free... now I live to bring Him praise... "

Right after that song, is us... and our story... and I just want to say that the whole time we were telling our story I was praying that God would be glorified.  We are so grateful for Dave Ramsey and for all we have learned and just want others to experience the peace we now know from being debt free:))

***Everyone keeps asking me what "frugal blogs" I read... the best & my most favorite is The Frugal Find :)) She is the all you need to get started if you are wanting to learn how to be a better steward of your finances!  She has free videos, a coupon database, awesome giveaways, and a truly generous heart.  I love her!***

One of the most memorable experiences of my life was the day that we walked in to Dave Ramsey's Office to call in to his radio show right there in the lobby so that we could thank him for teaching us the financial principles that have literally changed the legacy of our family... and to scream that WE'RE DEBT FREEEEEE!!  {If you want to hear the phone call, it's the last 15 minutes of the third hour of The Dave Ramsey Show on September 10, 2010}  Meeting Dave and Martha Thompson and all of the wonderful people that work there was truly an incredible experience.  We are so grateful.

"A gentle response defuses anger,
but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire...
Knowledge flows like spring water from the wise;
fools are leaky faucets, dripping nonsense.
Kind words heal and help;
cutting words wound and maim."
~Proverbs 15:1,3,4
